Sanchon is a place that specializes in dishes cooked Buddhist-temple style. The main ingredients uses in the foods here are vegetables, roots, fruits, barks of trees, seaweed, and cereals. Temple food is simple and focuses on the preservation of the authentic tastes of the foods; because of this, temple food does not use a lot of spice. a Buddhist (seungmu) dance and bara dance. These dances are presented in hopes of introducing the temple culture to its patrons. Performance hours are from 8 pm to 8:45 pm. Most of the customers are Korean, but foreigners make up more than 30% of the patrons. The food menu varies according to the season. |
